A 32-year-old writer who grew up in Southern Africa and has traveled extensively throughout the region. When I was about 3 years old my family moved to Zimbabwe and it was at that time that my love for Africa was sown. Visiting or living in both the smaller rural towns and the bigger cities has given me good perspective from which to experience Africa. I have mostly spent time in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Tanzania and South Africa. |

My best memory from being on Safari has to be when we got caught in a summer rainstorm just after dusk in north eastern South Africa. With only the lightning flashes to light up the surroundings we held on in the back seat of our open Land Rover as we raced towards camp. |
